Securing an investment with the expectation of a return is an ordinary way of viewing the market, but what if your investment monies transformed lives around the globe? The benefit of a reporting system, such as ESG, is confirming lifestyle improvements through an evaluation system. By selecting possible changes specific to different regions based on home economic consumption measurements, successful adoptions lead to communal wellness. While a return on investment is not off the table, the priority of sustainable endeavors should retain focus on leveraging natural and existing resources to benefit the current culture and environment where the business functions.
Investors can become generative profiteers learning about new cultures while expecting waste-free living sustainability reports to complement their rate of return. Our SDG goals reach several nodes, but many companies are making available new opportunities to strengthen society through impact investments. Creating a sustainable investment vehicle does not always mean a subpar return.

Return preferences vary; therefore, a spectrum of asset classes can provide an adequate option for various investor profiles. A below-market return accompanied with a positive community or environmental impact may provide the same, if not more significant, fulfillment for one investor versus an above-market return. Some countries, like India, impact investors prefer economic empowerment and positive social return in place of profit. Other political structures can entertain these concepts while preserving their countries' structural systems. Impact investment can be viewed more favorably as a contribution to a cause that produces positive returns with direct evidence of improvement.
